Interpreting in Hospitals
K2-Corpus
Description: Audio recordings of monolingual and interpreted doctor-patient communication.
Languages: German, Turkish and Portuguese (and Spanish).
Conventions/Format: CoMa corpus, transcription and annotation with syncWriter according to the HIAT conventions, German translations. Completely converted to the EXMARaLDA format.
Size: 25 hours of audio recordings, 160,000 transcribed words (approx. 100 transcriptions of approx. 30-minute-long recordings).
Status: Editing complete. Estimated publication in the first half of 2008.
