SBCSAE Surfer
The SBCSAE Surfer is a tool for inspecting and editing transcriptions from the Santa Barabara Corpus of Spoken American English. It allows you to load a transcription from the corpus together with its audio recording, navigate to individual lines of the transcription, playback the corresponding parts of the audio, edit the transcription text etc. We developed this tool in order to transform the SBCSAE corpus into EXMARaLDA. Sadly, this work was never completed. The surfer, however should work fine. Please contact us if you want to know more.
